Premier Mentor area manufacturer has an immediate opening for a Tool Crib Attendant. Reporting to the Material Manager is responsible for the receiving, physical custody, and issuance of production and office supplies, materials, small tools, some gauges, etc.  Must establish and obtain approval for systems and procedures to maintain safe and secure custody and ready levels of inventory for smooth and effective operations.

 

         $14-15/hr to start based on experience

         2nd shift

         Must be nicotine free

         Clean, climate controlled environment

 

 

Duties include:

 

         Receive supplies for shop and office, small tools and other small equipment, etc. ordered by Purchasing

         Issue supplies as needed and on proper authorization

         Replenish materials and supplies by reporting items and quantities needed to Inventory Control

         Enter all necessary records into established record system

         Receive bonded parts and supplies from Engine Manufacturer (Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Co.) to be used in customer repair operations.  Store such materials and parts in the locked and secured bonded crib; issue from this crib only to authorized   persons

         Receive small parts removed from customer engine components and store such parts while components are in process through shop.  Re-issue such parts for re-installation when ordered by the shop operator

         Receive, store, and issue to authorized persons small specialized tools such as air tools, special gages and other measuring instruments not in every day use

         Maintain detailed and accurate records of receipts, inventory, and issues

         Follow up to obtain return of tools issued and kept out beyond the return due date

 

Requirements include:

         Should have a minimum of a high school education or the equivalent

         Must have valid driver or chauffeur license to operate motor vehicles on public thoroughfares

         Must be capable of creating and maintaining neat, orderly records of all materials in the system; some working knowledge and experience with computerized record systems is necessary
