The Medical Device / Systems Analyst support for adds, moves, changes, or issue resolution. Troubleshoot medical device issues which could be network, PC, or device related. Assist with initial and ongoing configuration of wired/wireless devices through implementation, testing, and go live conversion while maintaining accurate detailed device tracking lists. Work directly with end users and vendors to resolve device issues and answer questions. Supports the clinical delivery systems by ensuring devices are up to date and maintained. Analyze system and device development with users to evaluate business requirements, identify operating procedures, evaluate existing or proposed systems and prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.    Â

Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve problems
Investigate non - standard requests and problems
Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines
Document and keep logs of past and current state
On - Call support on rotation
Analytic skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
1+ year of Helpdesk related experience
3+ year supporting networked Windows PCs with external devices
3+ years Wired / wireless device configuration
1+ year Quality Assurance Testing experience
Basic level with MS Word, Access, Excel
Previous experience with issue research / resolution and error management in clinical applications and devices
Capable of providing own reliable transportation for local travel to specified sites to troubleshoot
Willing and able to work in an on - call rotation
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Medical Device support - MRI, EKG, Mammography, X-Ray, etc
Network issue resolution
Previous experience with clinical and transcription related applications (Fuji / Synapse, PowerScribe, Vericis / Pyramis, Allscripts Enterprise, GE Centricity Business, and
GE Centricity RIS.
EMR experience
Experience documenting workflows
Basic level with MS Office Visio
