Business Analyst - Minnetonka, MN

As a Business Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to provide data analysis to support, compile and report key information for operations and business objectives. This is a position that affords you the ability to drive processes and improvement initiatives. By gathering and documenting business requirements and utilizing your sharp analytical skills to fulfill the needs of the business and / or clients, you will have an impact on healing the health care system. Primary Responsibilities:

Support the Clinical Business Enablement resource planning process

Oversight and management of existing forecasting systems / tools
Developing summary reports / charts
Maintaining and updating driver-based staffing models
Support team members at all levels
Support for the HEDIS Prospective (HPRO) application

Understand business requirements for each stakeholder
Participate in priority setting and communicate back to stakeholders
Write and update user documentation
Ensure appropriate testing is done by technology owner on each release
Define requirements for changes driven by Planning team
Understand the impact of claim platform migrations, business process changes, and complementary projects and communicate / document accordingly
Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests, relating to the development and performance of products, processes and technologies

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field
1 year of experience in business / finance including analysis
Intermediate level of proficient in MS Office
Preferred Qualifications:

SharePoint and MS InfoPath experience
Able to work collaboratively and influence across a matrix environment
Experience gathering requirements from the business and documenting
Ability to communicate and influence at multiple levels of the organization with confidence and comfort
Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and providing an evaluation
Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and / or inaccurate data
