Aerotek is in search of a Team Leader for one of manufacturing clients in Ooltewah, TN.
The Team Leader will be responsible for implementing 5S organization, lean manufacturing principles, and running Kaizen events.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervision and management of 40+ employees
- Implementation and use of 5S organization and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Implementation of the Kaizen system including continuous process improvement
- Adherence and enforcement of strict safety regulations including OSHA requirements
Qualifications:
- At least 2-3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment supervising at least 20 employees
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to implement process improvements and changes.
- Must be adaptable and a change agent
