Brake Services Specialist Responsibilities
As a Brake Service Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for servicing our guest's vehicles and ensuring quality workmanship. Brake Services Specialist responsibilities may also include but not limited to:
- Repairs and overhauls brake systems in cars and trucks.
- Must be able to perform complete disc or drum brake service including, but not limited to, replacing all braking components as well as performing full brake flushes.
- Applicants must be knowledgeable and understand the full mechanics of the braking system and be able to explain the brake servicing process and answer all customer questions as well as recommend certain products.
- Must be able to diagnose and pinpoint issues in the braking system.
Brake Service Specialist Qualifications
- Must have 1-2 years of experience working on braking system on various vehicles.
- Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands.
- Have a valid driver's license and be able to drive vehicles.
