SAP Test Lead - Full-time / Part-time

As a result, we are seeking an experienced SAPTest Lead who MUST HAVE the following technical skills:



5+ years as a Test Lead in SAP Implementation Projects, with 3 - 4 full life cycle deployments from the creation of (BPML) Business Process Master LIst to scope of test preparation/release planning/testing COE for enterprise.

Expertise in Authoring detailed test strategy and test plan, Test estimation,

Test case creation and execution, Offshore coordination, Creating test metrics and test summary reports, HP Quality Center / ALM

Experience with SAP ECC 6.0

Experience with the ASAP methodology or equivalent

Experience with wholesale/ manufacturing a plus

SAP AFS hands on experience is a plus

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Quality Assurance/Testing Function:

This job function is responsible for applying expertise in tools and methodologies to develop the requirements, procedures and guidelines for the testing of all technical applications and systems prior to deployment to ensure they are performing according to specifications and free of errors. This includes defining the test plan and strategy, testing environment, scenarios, scripts and data required, executing tests, and reporting on findings.

Positions in this function are responsible for organizing the resources necessary to prepare and execute tests and reporting back to the development team on issues to be addressed. This may include automation of testing processes, and the identification and management of testing tools and standards.

Systems Specialist Testing Analyst:

Provides strategic QA leadership within and across FOBs.

Establishes metrics, proposes and develops standard test methods, mentors team members and manages outside resources, as well as developing test programs.

Key Accountability:

• Leads the testing efforts in highly complex, multi-platform environments. Acts as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally, including contract testers and off-shore QA teams.
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
• Stays abreast of industry best practices and uses knowledge to evolve and mature the testing process, creating efficiencies. Proposes and develops standard test methods and tools.
• Leads continuous improvement and metrics initiatives; drives test automation strategy.
• Serves as a coach and mentor to more junior QA testing analysts. Delegates tasks as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Creates tools and methodologies for review and approval by management.
• Selects tools and methodologies for projects.

Skills Summary:

Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of technical skills, principles, practices and procedures of testing methodologies, and a solid track record of planning, designing and conducting a QA review and inspection.

Leverages their expertise across the QA organization to lead enhancements of the QA process and raise the level of testing expertise in MST.

Extensive experience coordinating with offshore QA teams.

Has experience with structuring the testing plans on multiple projects and technology platforms, estimating schedules, resources and dependencies.

In depth knowledge of multiple business subject areas and interdependencies.

Stays abreast of industry practices and process maturity models.

Researches new testing tools and techniques, and/or develops new testing tools and methodologies as appropriate.

Develops strategies for improving test processes, and recommends to management.

Responsible for implementing best practices and ensuring compliance by other QA team members.

Determines corresponding metrics for process improvement initiatives.

Leads program-level efforts, including enterprise, cross-FOB efforts.

Bachelor's Degree preferred and 10+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
