Description ADH & MENTOR Network is currently seeking a Revenue and Accounts Receivable Analyst will assist with the preparation of value-added financial analysis and assist with making recommendations with respect to revenue, accounts receivable, and reserves for doubtful accounts. This position will have interactions with various levels of field and corporate finance personnel and external auditors. The Accounts Receivable and Revenue Analyst will serve as functional support to field finance personnel in the use of the Oracle Receivables system. Essential Job Functions Demonstrates expertise in the unique billing and collections rules of each state and/or sub-region of oversight Responsible for partnering with and advising key operators on revenue recognition processes Flag inaccurate billing practices and escalate as appropriate Review and analyze weekly collection activity Set collection priorities for the upcoming week Review and analyze monthly accounts receivable balances Make recommendations for bad debt reserves Prepare and analyze monthly non-authorized reports Make recommendations to Business Directors and/or AR Management for non-authorized reserves Work with operations to obtain authorizations Prepare and analyze month sales adjustment reports Review client setup in billing system to ensure accuracy of data Review and analyze revenue reports Understands and complies with all internal control activities Assists with audits and cost reports as necessary Other duties as assigned Location in Dedham or North Andover Qualifications Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred. Experience: Five years’ experience in healthcare billing and collections preferred Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with staff of different cultural background Professional AR expertise to train operations Ability to review and clearly discuss aging information, authorization and denials with guarantors, operations and SSC-AR Other Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in an individual and team-oriented environment Ability to work quickly, logically and accurately Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Strong interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills Experience with Oracle or other ERP system preferred Experience with Human Services industry is a plus EOE/AAE Job Posting Unposting Date
