Seeking an Accounting Intern for the period August, 2016 – June, 2017. This internship will provide you with unique opportunity to work directly with Medical Finance Team of a top manufacturer in Marshall, NC. This is a full-time, paid position located in Marshall, NC and will report to the Plant Controller. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on Finance experience with the largest consumer products companies in the US.
Minimum Requirements & Preferred Qualifications:
- Underclassman working towards an Accounting or Finance degree with a minimum of 12 hours of Accounting classes
- Microsoft Office Skills
Key Responsibilities & Competencies:
- Journal Entries as part of the monthly closing process
- Research and analyze manufacturing variances
- Variance Reporting
- Interact with Sales, Manufacturing, Production and Operations Planning on various projects
