FOOD SVC UTILITY (FULL-TIME)

• We have an opening for a full-time Food SVC Utility position.
• Location: The Cedars, 630 Ocean Ave., Portland, ME 04103. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: 8:00am-4:00pm and 11:30-7:30pm, includes weekends.
• Requirement: Prior experience is preferred.

Summary: Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and boxes and places it into designated containers. Cleans out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Stocks kitchenettes on units.
• Confirms and puts away deliveries as needed
• Sweeps and mops store rooms and coolers
• Washes and puts away dishware
• Assists in meal service on units
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
