The Right Profile:

 

We are looking for a marketing, blogging and social media intern who can accelerate our vision of going viral with our offering! The ideal candidate must be interested in mobile apps, and software experience; specifically, the candidate must have experience with marketing, being part of small teams, creating crowdfunding campaigns, blogging, and producing strong social media content that get help generate interest in the app. The right candidate is one who is motivated by a unique opportunity to create something grand from nothing!

 

Key Functions:

  • Collaborate with our executive team to clearly define the business development strategy, national plan, and partner map

  • Create various “more” with “less” creative campaigns (including cold calling and email marketing) and manage marketing and sales teams as we grow

  • Can talk on the phone and send convincing emails to help market our product

  • Work directly with the CEO and founders

 

Qualifications:

  • Students pursuing BA/BS preferred. MBA degree candidates are highly desirable.

  • Experience navigating through the tight-knit startup community

  • Was part of at least one or two recent roles where the candidate played a sales, business development, or marketing role

  • Tech savvy with a passion for mobile technologies, innovation, and emerging categories

  • Ability to market to small businesses and not afraid to network

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with thirst to be a part of a great opportunity

 

This is an unpaid internship where you will learn hands and will be able to receive college credit. This is an exciting opportunity for an ideal go-getter to be part of a new app that will change the way people run the small business.
