DISH's In-Home Services (IHS) team leads the charge in service, installation, and home automation solutions for the millions of our DISH customers across the nation.  The IHS organization encompasses our employee technicians and third party service providers who help thousands of customers in the home every day.  DISH is changing the way people communicate and IHS is the face of that change to our customers!

A successful Regional Director has the following:

  • Master's degree strongly preferred and at least 4 years of related experience and 3 years supervisory or management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with active daily participation to achieve goals. Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment. 
  • Strong comprehension of mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to meet with all employees (local and remote), customers, service centers, and attend company meetings as required (50% travel)

The Regional Director provides leadership of all DISH In-Home Services employees within an established operational region. This includes ensuring all team members are providing a high level of customer satisfaction, achieving DISH performance goals and maintaining all DISH standards. You will be responsible for the guidance, development, and implementation of best practices and process adjustments to improve the business. Other responsibilities as follows:

  • Acts as an advocate for the customer.
  • Leads and motivates all employees in a given operational region whose function it is to install, set-up, troubleshoot & repair DISH products and related home automation services.
  • Directs P&L responsibilities for all areas associated with the region. Participates in development of fiscal budgets.
  • Reviews business results and develops dynamic improvement plans with all facilities in the operational region on a regular basis. Also oversees all hiring, training, and recruiting needs.
  • Provides daily leadership to the thousands of employees within the region including sales, operations and installation business units. Complies with management reporting and communications as requested. Responsible for achieving regional installation goals and ensures 100% customer/consumer satisfaction.
  • Prepare, facilitate and participate in business reviews and meetings with all regional facilities.
  • Fiscal responsibility for the entire region’s operations.
  • Demonstrates proficiencies in strategic planning in the territory to ensure that personal and operational goals are met.  Develops an understanding of each market's strengths and opportunities through data analysis, first hand observations, round-table participation, and 1-on-1 discussions.
  • Travels to meet with prospective clients, customers and attend company meetings, as required.
