Spectrum Enterprise Engineering & Operations currently seeks a Business Process Specialist. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Position Summary

The Business Process Manager will work within Enterprise Engineering & Operations (EE&O) and with External business partners to define, evolve, and measure current and go forward processes.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of process framework to ensure best practices for project process standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyze existing processes focused on identifying gaps, non-value added steps, and other impediments to efficient operations.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure process and policy compliance.
  • Identify, document and communicate any gaps in standard operating procedures and processes. Escalates critical issues to Managers and Leads.
  • Develop strong working relationships with cross functional internal teams to establish standard documentation procedures and templates.
  • Advise senior leadership on progress, problem-solving, solution development, identification and measurement of performance targets, and data analysis.
  • Establish and maintain a process for evaluating the quality of tools and associated documentation, assists in internal process and work product audits at pre-determined points throughout the tool development life cycle, issues non-compliance reports, and evaluates corrective actions to address non-compliance and meet acceptable reliability standards.
  • Collect and analyze quality data in order to develop and execute process improvements based on QA metrics with the goal of improving tool quality, enhancing productivity, and improving products and services.
  • Collect QA metrics from projects, ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, document findings, maintain organization level metrics repository, and recommend process improvements for any changes to current quality best practices/procedures/processes with the goal of improving tool quality and enhancing productivity.
Job Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in quality assurance/business process work, specifically related to development and performing internal audits on processes and procedures of teams.
  • Experience ensuring quality and positive customer service on tools that deal with multiple task orders at one time
  • Values-based personality with the ability to work independently and in a team environment with good client interfacing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Must have a collaborative spirit and the ability to contribute meaningfully to group discussions and work with a high performing team.
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and exercise independent judgment in prioritizing tasks.
Education and Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
