Position: Youth Mentor Coordinator (K-8th grades)
Classification: Employee status /Part Time (20-25 hours per week)
Contract position: August 2017-June 2018
Daily hours: 8:30am-3:00pm (Start and end time varies from each site)
Compensation: $10-$13 d.o.e. (Bi-weekly pay)
Job Description:
- as a youth mentor coordinator you will be working with youth during school hours facilitating structured recess games while incorporating leadership skills.
- Your job duties will consist of working with each class on a one on one basis delivering fun and active game activities for 30 min bi-weekly.
- Create a fun peer to peer mentoring program involving 4th-6th graders as role models for the other students on campus.
- Promote and market camps and after school programs throughout the school year
- Have fun!!!!
Qualifications:
- 18+ years of age
- High school graduate
- Working with youth (preferred)
- Availability to work hours listed
- Passion to work with youth, self-starter, motivator
- Tb test clearance
- Pass background check and screening process
