POSITION PURPOSE: The Sr. Analyst, Digital Marketing Analytics and Intelligence will be responsible for designing analytical processes and end-user solutions to maximize profits and optimizing processes for The Home Depot's digital marketing channels. This role will also be responsible for developing tools that provide actionable business insights that can be leveraged by senior management and cross functional online teams. The position will be held accountable for the planning and management of the projects for developing these tools including, resource management, value analysis, issue and risk management and decision impact.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • 25%-Design, develop and deliver marketing tools that present actionable insights and business impact enabling new industry best practices or improvements to current processes
  • 20%-Research, understand, and define business needs based on The Home Depot?s digital marketing goals across internal and external customers.
  • 15%-Responsible for utilizing digital marketing data and collaborating with various business teams to identify optimization opportunities across channels and devices.
  • 15%-Interpret Digital Marketing trends to build recommendations and forecasts for marketing, merchandising and finance teams. Focus of this role will be on SEO, SEM, Affiliate and Shopping Comparison channels.
  • 15%-Coordinate and project-manage various teams, including external consulting partners involved in the end to end testing process to assure governance and standard processes are followed, and support effective scaling up of the testing program at Home Depot.com
  • 10%-Establish and report on digital marketing metrics of assigned projects to gauge business value (ROI).

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be eighteen years of age
  • Must pass the Drug Test
  • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 4 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
  • Strong Digital Marketing and Analytical Skills
  • Experience with SEO, SEM, Affiliate and Shopping Comparison Channels
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases
  • Previous experience with Omniture Sitecatalyst and related products
  • Demonstrated skills in applying statistical analysis principles to business challenges
  • Ability and willingness to operate in a highly cross-functional environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others
