Inside Sales and Service Representative needed for our distribution client in Riverside.
The ideal Inside Sales and Service Representative must be detail oriented with minimum of 3+ year experience. The position requires strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. Possess positive attitude, credible and confident telephone manner coupled with the drive and enthusiasm to sustain a high call volume, Typing speed: 30+ wpm and strong experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word. High school diploma or equivalent required - Bachelor's degree preferred.
Job Overview:
As an Inside Sales/Service associate, you will take incoming calls from customers requesting pricing for our products. The Inside sales rep must demonstrate a great personality and a desire to grow within the company. You will be responsible for preparing price quotes, following up with customers, layout proof, set production schedule, converting quotes to orders, calling customers to make sure they are satisfied with the service, and calling new customers from a list that is supplied to you.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES• Assist customers nationwide with special pricing requests.• Develop relationships with customers and vendors over the phone.• Willingness to work independently with result oriented work ethic and motivation to achieve and exceed sales targets.• Willingness and desire to work in a high pressure, high expectation office environment• Organization of sales cycle and follow up via sales database.• Good communication skills (verbal and written)• Research and troubleshoot orders as needed.• Provide customers with product samples and quotes.• Prepare estimates, confirmation and or invoices that meet specific customer needs• Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests• Demonstrated ability to up sell and increase account spend over time.• Work with customers on product line, taking sample requests, and tracking customer needs.• Employs active listening skills. Demonstrates patience, and is able to handle difficult customers tactfully, courteously and professionally• Strong ability to handle orders, prepare proofs, prepare art work, planning plate and bag layouts• Review & modify sales order, purchase orders & proofs• Strong multi-tasking abilities surrounding order processing and proofs• Work with vendor to get proof and final print production schedule• Must be able to work in fast-paced proposal production environment and complete tasks under pressure• Requires attention to detail and accuracy including the ability to follow detailed instructions• Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution• Solves problems in a way that makes customers feel valued and that their calls are important.• Other projects as deemed necessary from time to time.
