Accountant - Full-time / Part-time

Currently hiring for an Accountant within a manufacturing company in the Findlay area. Responsibilities include:

• Oversee fixed assets including costs, useful life, and depreciation
• Digitize and organize fixed asset files
• Contribute to team effort by cross training and helping wherever needed
• Daily balancing of bank accounts and cash management
• Establish relationship with customers tracking timely payments
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory tracking
• Analyze, balance, and document assigned general ledger accounts
• Gain an understanding of the Glovia System and report writing
• Support daily requests
• Assist in the organization of the accounting electronic files
• Back up for accounts receivable and payable
• Monthly closing that get reported to parent company (public) year end too
• Will handle a lot of project accounting work 15-20 projects simultaneously & 15-20 capital projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing setting
• Previously worked in an ERP or MRP system
• Knowledge of general ledgar, journal entries, month end closing, year end closing, and physical inventory
