Objective: The Training Coordinator is responsible for the execution and organization of all training programs for CAREGiversSM. This position will also require the support of shared services.
 
 
Primary Responsibilities:                                                                             
  • Reflect the core values of Lorain County Senior Care, Inc., (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise).
  • Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Create a monthly training calendar
  • Enter and maintain accurate client and CAREGiver records in the operating system
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with owner, colleagues and CAREGivers
  • Schedule and conduct CAREGiver Orientation
  • Evaluate and update all orientation and training materials as needed
  • Develop monthly in-service topics to meet CAREGiver and office needs
  • Develop, plan and facilitate CAREGiver Meetings every other month with Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator
  • Schedule and conduct CAREGiver Training, In-services and Alzheimer’s Training
  • Ensure Home Instead Senior Care standards are met and upheld
  • Assist Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator with duties including, but not limited to reference checks and updating insurance and driver’s license expirations.
 
 
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and comply with federal and local labor and safety laws
  • On call in rotation with office staff
  • Perform any and all other functions and responsibilities deemed necessary
  • Conduct introductions, care consultations and quality assurance visits as deemed necessary
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • High school graduation or the equivalent
  • STNA preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
