The Senior Network
Financial Analyst will provide support for the developing and driving provider
performance improvement strategies and special projects that directly impact
the operational and financial performance of network management using strong reporting,
analytical and influencing skills. The Senior Network Financial Analyst will
provide support to the operational groups through qualitative and quantitative
project analysis and process development. The Senior Network Financial Analyst
will work closely with various areas within the organization, to support
internal and external clients in facilitating pharmacy reimbursement analyses.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage and provide support
for the Pharmacy reimbursement inquiry process Research Pharmacy
Reimbursement issues to determine the origin, and implement a solution
required
Recommend pricing updates and measure margin impact
Monitor, and report on pricing data
Utilize SAS, SQL, Excel & Access to create/maintain processes for tracking and analyzing pharmacy inquiries
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly client reporting processes
Perform daily and monthly QA on pricing data
Collaborate with management teams to ensure Data Analytics delivers consistent, accurate and insightful pharmacy reporting;
Support and drive continuous process improvements;
Perform other non-routine duties as assigned to meet corporate objectives
Works closely with Industry Relations management to prioritize internal and external analyses

 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
Strong detailed and analytical skills 
4+ years of experience in finance, contractual analysis and / or data analysis
2+ years managed care experience, network experience including experience with Medicare regulations and guidelines.
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word 
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work productively and proactively in a dynamic, fast paced and constantly changing environment
Outstanding organizational, analytical and negotiating skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deal with conflicting deadlines.
AWP experience
Be a team player and strong ability to work with other disciplines across companies.  
Be able to work independently to achieve overall departmental goals.
Self-starter, demonstrated ability to structure own work, design and drive projects from their inception through to completion;
Strategic thinker, able to quickly grasp complex issues;
Ability to use internal data warehouse to extract meaningful metrics and activity for analysis through SQL or SAS.
Some knowledge of SAS, Alteryx, and SQL
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative based field such as Finance, Statistics
PBM Industry Pricing and Analytic Experience
