Primary Responsibilities:

Identify, analyze and resolve routine and complex system issues for current production applications
Responsibility, at a high level, includes application availability, reliability and stability 
Participate in 24x7 on call support
Ensure timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding SLAs
Ensure that the work delivered by the team is of high quality
Work with business to prioritize production issues for resolution
Conduct or facilitate root cause analysis on all in-scope incidents and recommend a corrective action plan
Work on break-fixes for production issues and implement the same
Assist in providing management status reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis
Assist as a liaison between offshore resources and business/ onsite IT management
Identify application performance improvement initiatives and implement the same in consultation with Service Manager
Work on process improvement initiatives 

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/ GED with 6+ years of equivalent work experience in the IT field
Strong analytical and technical aptitude with proven experience troubleshooting issues in a production environment
Proven Experience analyzing complex issues across applications including problem analysis, issue tracking, escalation and resolution
4+ years of experience with IBM Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, TSO, VSAM, CICS, FILE-AID, MQ
4+ years of experience with DB2 with high SQL skills
Strong Relational Database experience performing data analysis, data profiling, debugging
2+ years of with MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
Preferred Requirements: 

Healthcare experience
Exposure to complex, cross-departmental projects involving multiple platforms
.Net or Java experience
