Position Summary:
Employee will be responsible for creating a vision, roadmap and driving product development and rollout strategy for the managed cloud computing infrastructure solutions that NaviSite offers. Employee will work with internal stakeholders and external software and service providers to expand and enhance our cloud computing solutions in many forms to enable our clients to exceed their IT infrastructure requirements and help them achieve business goals.

Essential Job Functions:
You’ll be responsible for developing and managing NaviSite’s managed cloud computing solutions for its IaaS, DaaS, Hybrid, Bare Metal and other cloud infrastructure solutions. You’ll be driving the strategic product planning, software development process, (we use SAFe – Scaled Agile Framework), pricing & packaging strategies, competitive analysis and go-to-market strategies. You’ll share your vision in many forms from – product roadmaps, product requirements and outlines for content marketing assets and campaigns. You’ll manage the relationships we have with our vendors and you’ll help bring in new ones and maintain them. The Sr. Product Manager for Cloud Computing solutions will ensure that our products are meeting our customer’s needs and leveraging technology advancements to ensure competitive differentiation. You’ll be in a high impact, very visible role, collaborating with Developers, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Sales, Marketing and other departments.

As a member of the Product Management team your responsivities include:
•Devise and articulate the company’s product roadmap for cloud computing solutions and ensure that the value proposition will ensure a successful launch and profitable service.
•You’ll own the product vision for your area. Ensure that it aligns with the overall product and company vision, become the thought leader – internally and externally for Cloud Computing solutions.
•You’ll represent the client or partner and be their champion and voice. Product Managers at NaviSite actively participate in client forums and ensure their requirements are being considered.
•Manage the roadmap. Ensure that priorities and dependencies are factored in, and you’ll build trust with stakeholders by sharing your vision and roadmap. You’ll share your knowledge of the market and client requirements and ensure that we are on track for success.
•Manage products throughout their lifecycle from conception to launch to follow-on releases and their eventual retirement.
•Measure success by tracking product margins, revenue, churn, client satisfaction and employee feedback. Ensure that all stakeholders have a visible sense of your interpretation of these data points and have actionable conclusions to push them to the best outcome for the company and clients.
•Drive innovation, in this role, you’ll synthesize internal and external knowledge to ensure that NaviSite’s innovative spirit results in market leadership.
•Represent NaviSite at various industry events, conferences and internal forums.

Required Qualifications:
•7 or more years’ experience in a Product Management, or thought leader level subject expertise with a business development role at a B2B technology company, preferably an IaaS or SaaS provider that has an active cloud computing or SaaS focus.
•A goal oriented individual who wants to grow with NaviSite professionally and technically while constantly improving their skills, leveraging new techniques and creating world-class products.
•You should have a “thirst for knowledge” to keep up with the latest and greatest technologies in our space, ecosystem vendor announcements, market developments and more.
•Strong analytics capabilities, and you enjoy building financial and revenue models
•Strong demonstrated experience in being the voice of clients and stake holders – with examples to share of working with marketing, finance, engineering support and operations.
•A team player who will help mentor teammates who are looking to get to the next level.
•Willing to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities to share the NaviSite story.
•Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to influence people at all levels across all functions.
•Excellent grammar and writing for influence skills.

Education:
Bachelor's degree (B. A./B. S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
