CAREGivers Needed in Jacksonville - Full-time / Part-time

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services and has openings for CAREGivers to assist in a local hospital unit setting for daytime 12 hour shifts from 7am to 7 pm and awake overnight care 12 hour shifts from 7pm to 7am, including weekends.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Assistance with meals
• Medication reminders
• Assistance with grooming, bathing and dressing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care
• Monitoring and documentation for nursing staff

*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care*

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients and hospital staff in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
• Must have transportation to get to and from your assignments
• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am
