The Senior Software Implementation Engineer for Advanced Communication Engine is responsible for the successful installation and configuration of the Advanced Communication Engine product and database services under the direction of the Implementation Manager.  They will be responsible for handling all installation and configuration activities of software, customer technical issues, documenting processes, author end user documentation, and provide creative solutions to complex problems.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Assist Sales as necessary regarding technical and platform questions during the sales cycle
Validate that sales orders conform to supported platforms
Size hardware based on hardware discovery questionnaire
Install and configure Advanced Communication Engine products, services, database and assistance with interfaces - onsite or remote as necessary
Troubleshoot customer product issues (application/ Oracle / SQL / Interface connectivity / SSL encryption)
Test and troubleshoot products, services, and/or interfaces
Create and implement custom scripting based on client need
Conduct technical application training as necessary
Assist with backup and disaster recovery procedures
Assist other Ops and Dev teams as necessary
Coordinate with Development as necessary
Own customer product upgrades to completion

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Database management expertise with Oracle 11g and above and SQL Server 2012
5+ years of Experience with software implementation activities and methodologies
BA/BS degree in healthcare, business, computer science, information systems or related field 
Ability to travel up to 35% per year
Preferred Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of OS systems administration (Windows 2008 - 2012 Server, Unix/AIX/Linux)
Experience with Payer, Provider and/or Clearinghouse claim submission, processing and billing practices
Familiarity with XML, X12 and 837
Disaster recovery, redundancy, and load balancing experience
Oracle Database (RAC) clustering experience
Coding and scripting experience
Java/JBOSS experience
Experience with technical documentation procedures
Working with external clients from front line technical staff to executive staff
Proactively initiates, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with team members 
Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within specific timeframes
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple customer's projects and needs simultaneously
Problem solving skills to identify critical issues and facilitate resolution
