The UHC Relations Project Management team is dedicated to overall business management of projects that support UHC’s government lines of business & regulatory agencies (i.e. UHC Medicare & Retirement, UHC Community & State, CMS agency, etc.).   Project Managers are assigned to projects with the over-arching responsibility to lead and facilitate discussion & meetings with a multi-disciplinary team of Subject Matter Experts in order to identify/conduct the following: issues for resolution, process gaps, comparative analysis, business requirements, business UAT specifications/design, project timeline &/or final recommendations. This position usually works in conjunction with an IT counterpart to achieve the targeted project timeline & a successful outcome.     
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Serve in a lead client-facing position
Manage mid-scale enterprise wide projects
Manage migrations and new client implementation projects
Analyze, review, compile complex data
Gather and document business requirements
Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities through analysis
Develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate
Coordinate multi-functional workgroups & lead purposeful discussions toward a unified outcome
Develop and lead a coordinated project plan of multi-functional areas
Coordinate UAT efforts

Requirements


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration or related field
4+ years of Project Management experience
PMP Certification or willingness to complete within 18 months
1+ years of experience gathering and documenting requirements from the client / business
1+ years of experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking
1+ and / or evaluation of business processes
Intermediate level of proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally
Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and / or inaccurate data
Ability to prioritize & manage various, multi-staged projects simultaneously
Ability to present complex information succinctly for leadership review
 
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with IT Projects and / or management of User acceptance testing protocols
