Cover the toll free quality intervention services phone lineTake calls from members, providers & other departments regarding clinical issuesReceive and organize email referralsConfer with clinicians regarding casesResearch member eligibility and dates of service in regards to the casesCreate and send correspondence to the members regarding their casesEnter all work into the databaseAssign cases to clinicians for further investigationOther duties as assigned

Requirements



Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GEDMust be able to work Mon - Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm PST2+ years of Customer Service experience analyzing and solving customer problems and concerns in a professional setting1+ year of experience working within the Healthcare Industry1+ year of experience working with Healthcare InsuranceWorking knowledge of Medical Terminology to communicate with members and providersMust be able to navigate a PC to open applications, send emails, and conduct data entryMust be able to create, edit, save and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:

Professional experience in a Clerical or Administrative support related roleKnowledge/experience with Medicaid, Medicare or Commercial
