Responsible for maintenance of computer hardware and software that comprises a computer network including the design, deployment, configuration, maintenance and monitoring of active network equipment. Concentrating on the overall health of the network, server deployment, security, ensuring network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure, and all other technical considerations at the network level of an organizations technical hierarchy.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Hardware support for IBM and Cisco servers
Network support for Cisco switches and routers
Performs all security administration across all system platforms
Research, plan and implement hardware and software solutions
Technical support for 250+ users
Operating system support for 2012 Server and Exchange 2010
Backup, optimize, document and administrate all network operations
Support Group Medical Management Applications
Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and monitoring access
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches and hot fixes
Create monthly infrastructure uptime and health reports
Complete required technology security projects defined by Optum risks team
Analyze, optimize and secure network traffic and plan future growth
Configure and install various network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN)
Monitoring networks for security breaches
Develops plans and establishes security measures to safeguard an organization's electronic data and computer systems
Scheduling, archiving, and maintaining network backups
Maintaining high-level knowledge of information security and staying current on new developments or threats
 

Required Qualifications:

AA degree in Information Systems or a related field
5+ years of experience in Information Systems /  Technology Field
3+ years of experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
3+ years of experience with Cisco Switches, UCS
3+ years of experience with VMWare Vsphere 
3+ years of experience with NetApp storage systems
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access
Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience with the following:

Zerto Replication
IDERA Uptime
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
Microsoft SQL, Exchange
Forescout
Splunk
Safenet Encryption
Invincea
Cyberark
3+ years of experience with VEEAM backup solutions
Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint
Any of the following certifications / licenses: Microsoft MCSE,Cisco CCNA ,Netapp Certified Storage Associate / Data Admin / Support Engineer,Palo Alto ACE,VMWare Certified Professional / Advanced
