POSITION SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the warehouse including monitoring inventory, receiving products and entering inventory data. The Warehouse Technician may perform the responsibilities required by Converter Control or Materials depending on location, as well as the combined responsibilities of both Converter Control and Materials.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Combined Converter Control & Materials
• Loads and unloads all truck deliveries and daily pick-ups by manual operation or by operating a forklift, pallet jack and/or handcart
• Breaks down loads from pallets and stock shelves in a neat and orderly manner
• Receives equipment, counts items and records data using computer
• Receives inventory in a timely manner
• Inspects for any damages in the inventory received
• Completes and maintains appropriate shipping and receiving documents
• Marks inventory items using labeling equipment
• Updates and verifies accuracy of data input into the computer inventory program on a daily basis
• Monitors stock levels to ensure timely re-order
• Distributes products to Company associates as needed, driving is required
• Maintains neat appearance of warehouse area
• Operates and maintains warehouse equipment and tools in compliance with Company safety standards
• Maintains equipment usage and maintenance logs according to safety protocol procedures
• Assists other warehouse technicians as necessary
• May perform above responsibilities with a focus in either converter control warehouse or materials warehouse
• May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required
• Perform Physical Inventory as instructed by region
• Keep Warehouse and surrounding area clean and orderly
• Maintains communications with internal customers
• Work effectively in a team environment and maintain a professional and positive manner
• Effectively maintains the security of Warehouse inventory equipment

Converter Control Focus:
• Tests converter inventory to ensure proper working condition
• Prepares failed converters and cable equipment for shipment
• Collects units requiring repair and routes to appropriate personnel
• Cleans used converters
• Accurately inputs information into CSG and Mintek

• Materials Focus
• Processes paperwork including receiving reports, material requisitions, packing slips, invoices and purchase orders
• Receives purchase orders, and requisitions materials and equipment from vendors
• Follows up on purchase orders by contacting vendors
• Communicates with internal customers on issues which pertain to inventory issues
• Assists in materials inventory count
• Accurately inputs information into PeopleSoft

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Driving is a requirement for this position. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and safe driving record.
• Satisfactory driving record
• Demonstrated ability to utilize computer software and hardware
• Basic math, reading, writing and typing skills
• 1 year previous warehouse experience or equivalent
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Ability to ensure work related responsibilities are completed accurately and timely
• Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, fast paced and high demand environment
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality while working with highly sensitive information
• Ability to maintain a professional and positive manner
• Ability to effectively communicate with peers and supervisors

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Evening, weekend and overtime hours may be required
• Work in a storage warehouse facility where the temperature is not controlled
• Stand and/or walk up to 8 hours per day
• Sit for up to 6 hours per day
• Bend, squat and reach frequently
• Lift up to 75 pounds frequently
• Perform repetitive grasping of equipment including screwdrivers, pliers and cleaning cloths
• Use of cleaning products including denatured alcohol, sandpaper and paint
• Use of office equipment including telephone, computer and printer
• Use of warehouse equipment including handheld computer, forklift, pallet jack, handcart and delivery truck
• Constant, fast paced work
