The Business Tester is responsible for creating and executing test cases and validating test results for Business Process testing. The Tester will participate in all phases of testing including preparation, planning, execution and validation. As a member of a cross functional team, the Tester will have the opportunity to work with Analysts, Testers and Subject Matter Experts from many Domains such as Claim, Provider and Member to deliver high quality business and technology products by designing and implementing  robust testing practices.
 
Primary Responsibilities:


Collaborate with Business Process SMEs and Business Analysts to create test cases

Collaborate with Business and Technology teams to identify and implement Business Process testing improvements that will be applied to other Polaris Program teams

Coordinate with project team to perform regression testing 

Execute Manual Tests

Support testing activities, as appropriate

Validate test results to Acceptance Criteria for manual and automated tests 

Work with team members to solve problems that impact testing

Quickly adapt and manage competing priorities, challenging timelines and new technologies

Requirements

Required Qualifications:  

3+ years’ Experience with developing business requirements in more than one Domain including but not limited to Claim, Member, Provider, Network and/or Account in healthcare industry
Background with Agile and / or Waterfall SDLC methodology
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a testing role
Knowledge of Rally tool for Capabilities and Features
Experience with developing business requirements in more than one Domain including but not limited to Claim, Member, Provider, Network, Account
Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
Knowledge of ALM for Test Cases and Defect Management
