About this job
Automation Personnel Services has immediate openings for industrial maintenance technicians for a tire recycler in Calhoun, GA. Duties include:
- Repair industrial machinery and building.
- Inspect machinery, grease bearings and track belts.
- Check tool inventory.
- Clean the shop.
- Package dull blades for shipping to vendors.
- Metal fabrication using welder, torch, plasma and other power tools.
- Complete paperwork on Work Order and Checklists recording all repairs made and needed and inventory parts used.
- Perform safety inspections for machine guarding, fire prevention, PPE and best practices.
- Operate a forklift, skid steer loader, man lift, and other industrial mobile equipment needed to complete tasks.
- Any other task assigned by Management.
High school diploma or GED not required but preferred. Hours are Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7: 30am with some overtime required. Good problem solving skills. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
