PURPOSE/OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
Charter is recruiting a Finance Analyst for its Enterprise Metrics and Reporting team to support Sales, Marketing, and Finance Leadership. The purpose of this position is to provide high quality reporting and analytical support to maximize financial results throughout the organization. This individual will report to the Senior Finance Manager, of the Enterprise Metrics and Reporting team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/ YEARS OF MINIMUM RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/ AND OR CERTIFICATIONS:
Charter is recruiting a Finance Analyst for its Enterprise Metrics and Reporting team to support Sales, Marketing, and Finance Leadership. The purpose of this position is to provide high quality reporting and analytical support to maximize financial results throughout the organization. This individual will report to the Senior Finance Manager, of the Enterprise Metrics and Reporting team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Sales, Marketing, and Finance leadership to evaluate various aspects of the Enterprise business segment
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to creation and production of periodic sales results reporting, product sales reporting, evaluating sales results, interfacing with Sales and Marketing organizations regarding variances and additional reporting needs, sales contest tracking, referral partner program reporting and commissions determination, telesales call volume analysis, and other various reporting
- Other responsibilities include project related analysis and presentation, management reporting and other ad hoc analyses as needed
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial and operational reporting for Management team for various purposes
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy and validity of the information being reported
- Work closely with other functional groups across the organization to fully understand operational flows, product intricacies, systems architectures, for effective development of financial and operating performance reporting
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/ YEARS OF MINIMUM RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Key skills required: complex financial modeling, efficient and relevant report development, CRM and database knowledge (including Salesforce.com, ICOMS, or CSG) and strong analytics and communication skills
- Data mining expertise using Microsoft Access and Excel
- Clear understanding of product, sales, and operational metrics that are drivers of revenue
- Ability to work independently and with team members to meet critical deadlines
- Ability to explain finance/accounting related topics to a non-finance audience
- Highly motivated individual with superior attention to detail and accuracy
- High competency in creating and working with complex Excel documents
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Position requires adherence to Charter Standards of Business Conduct
- Position must assist in maintaining the confidentiality of customer and business data at all times
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/ AND OR CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior revenue analytics and product sales reporting experience preferred.
