Produce Merchandiser

The Fresh Market currently has 2 openings for Produce Merchandiser. These positions will be based in FL and report in to a Manager, Merchandising located at the corporate office in Greensboro, NC.

 

This role is responsible for executing in-store merchandising tasks in order to achieve competitive advantage at the store level.  The qualified candidate will work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying appropriate store-wide and/or corporate-wide standards. He or she will work closely with store staff in regard to shelf maintenance and he or she will also train staff on appropriate merchandising standards.

 

This position requires an experienced professional who has an expertise in product knowledge, food handling, presentation, ordering, quality control, and prepared food production.

Requirements  

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Retail experience required; Produce Merchandising experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Able to interpret a variety of instructions, furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to travel daily within assigned territory to include occasional over nights (Travel required:  80%)
