About this job
We are seeking a Restaurant Cook to join our dedicated kitchen staff! You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in our kitchen.
Training available to adjust your skill to our Menu.
Must be available to work at night and weekends
We have different shift available with Full Time or Part Time options.
Must be available to work any shift as needed
We offer $10 - $16 / hour based on experience.
Other benefit include Tips and Meals.
Responsibilities: - Prepare all served food - Ensure food safety standards - Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions - Follow standard recipes and special diet orders - Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently - Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes - Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances - Ensure fast and accurate food prep. Able to work cooperatively - Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers - Assist with facilities maintenance
Qualifications: - Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields - Utilizes proper food handling and food service techniques. - Proven cooking experience - Excellent understanding of various cooking methods - Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques - Strong attention to detail - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work well in teams - Familiar with industry's best practices - Ability to communicate clearly and with good manners with coworkers
