Mechanical Design Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Conceive, design, develop, and maintain products based on customer needs. this will require working with customers and the internal team to come up with design, work with vendors to get it manufactured, manufacturing to get it assembled and follow all projects until installation is complete.

The primary function is to support and/or complete medium to high level, complex engineering tasks/projects as assigned to meet business objectives and product lines for the food service industry.

EDUCATION:
BSME or engineering function is preferred but Doug is open to a 2 year degree and experience

EXPERIENCE:
5+ years engineering experience related to product design and development in a manufacturing environment.

SKILLS/ ABILITY:
* 3D modeling using SolidWorks and experience with PDM Workgroup.
* Adaptable, flexible, innovative, problem solving skills, sense of urgency, listening skills.
* Effective oral and written communication.
* Task planning.
* Applicable computer skills using Microsoft Suite.
* Organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of various manufacturing and quality processes.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Working knowledge of UL, CSA and NSF standards. In depth knowledge and understanding of ANSI Z83.11 and UL197 Standards.
* Familiarity with Thermo Dynamic concepts and its application to cooking systems.
* Electrical wiring and design
* CFD Experience.
* Microsoft Project.
* FMEA experience.
