I need a hands-on care provider with Alzheimer's / Dementia experience for my mother in her 80s. Bathing / Dressing: Dressing daily, shower weekly. Meal Preparation: Lunch. Light Housekeeping: Laundry, especially bed linens; clean the bathroom once a week.. Mom is obese with chronic pain from fibromyalgia/arthritis, high BP, cholesterol, borderline diabetes, and sits in front of the TV all day. Dad has bladder cancer and is too weak to take care of Mom any more. We need somebody mid-morning to get Mom up and dressed, do some laundry and light cleaning, and set up their lunch before leaving..
