Boeing is looking for skilled Assemblers to join our Propulsion South Carolina team in the Ladson, SC facility.
An Aircraft Assembler:
* Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical and/or electrical / electronic / wiring assemblies, sub/assemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.
* Works in assigned manufacturing production department to learn and perform a variety of structural assembly operations, fastener installation, and inspection duties while working from electronic models, manufacturing specifications, procedures, and instructions.
* Drill, edge fill, fit and assemble a variety of detail parts, skins and assemblies.
* Inspects for proper installations and integrity.
* Approves and stamps acceptable assemblies and rejects assemblies not meeting requirements.
* Perform delegated Production Accountability duties associated with the processing, verification, quality auditing and inspection of assemblies, parts and tooling.
* Maintains necessary documentation and records.
* Refers any unusual problems to supervision.
* Keeps work areas clean and orderly.
* Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications
Requirements:
* This position is for a Variable Shift. Candidates must be willing and able to work any shift including days, nights, and weekends.
* Must be physically capable of working in a factory production environment, which includes sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and operating hand and power tools.
* Previous experience working with heavy metal aircraft structures is a plus.
Typical Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Authorization:
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.
All employees will be on the Boeing South Carolina Benefit Structure.
