Diesel Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is currently hiring for a Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a construction company in the Banks, OR area. A qualified candidate will have 3-5 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic or working with construction equipment. The job duties are as follows:

Repairs and maintains diesel engines used to power machines, such as construction machinery and forklifts, using handtools, precision measuring instruments, and machine tools: Diagnoses trouble, disassembles engines, and examines parts for defects and excessive wear.

Reconditions and replaces parts, such as pistons, bearings, gears, valves, and bushings, using engine lathes, boring machines, handtools, and precision measuring instruments.
