We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented professional with auditing experience to become our Associate Director managing Commercial Client Audits (CCA) in our Irvine office for the OptumRx segment within UnitedHealth Group. Coordinate and manage the execution of external Commercial Client Audits (CCA) performed by outside consultants
Own end-to-end CCA process (all messaging on audits, external auditor/consultant relationships, ongoing interface with health plans, arbitration of root cause ownership, internal reporting on audits) which includes verifying the contractual right to audit, negotiating scope, timing, obtaining a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), facilitating on-sites, etc
Collaborate and work with the Quality Organization, an independent team with quality expertise and business process discipline, to manage the claim review process, determine and validate issues and root cause with SMEs, distribute internal reporting on error trends/causes, develop appropriate action plans and ensure action plans are completed and perform follow up to validate timely completion
Work effectively with consultants and account managers and develop positive relations through meetings and onsite visits
Work to effectively manage multiple audits and deliver quality deliverables within strict timeframes

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

BA/BS degree
5+ years of experience in internal audit (operational, financial, and/or IT related) and/or external audit coordination
Preferred Qualifications:


Project Management experience

Healthcare/PBM experience
