Lab Operator - Full-time / Part-time

Analytical Testing: Pipetting, Titrations, Weighing, Balancing, etc.

Computer Proficiency: Word, Excel, Outlook for data entry, emails.

Math Skills: Percentages, Scientific Notation, Addition/Subtraction

+Responsible for running daily tests, performing weekly scheduled calibrations, end of shift duties and house keeping, safety checks.
+Provide analysis of raw materials, in process and finished products using a variety of chemistry and instrumental techniques.
+Operate, maintain, and verify calibration for standard laboratory equipment (including, but not limited to, titrators, balances, pH meters, ovens, gas chromatographs, liquid chromatographs, viscometers and spectrophotometers).
+Will be required to fill drums up to 50 gallons and handle/carry up to 3 gallons
+Other periodic job duties may include putting new cylinders in hydrogen generators and hooking them up.


+Attire is steel toed shoes, lab coat (provided) Then jeans and a shirt.
+Required to wear hard hats outside of lab. Wear safety glasses. When they handle certain chemicals wear goggles, face shields, glove.
+4 techs with1 on each shift.
+Will work two 50 hour weeks and then a 40 hours week and will know schedule for the entire year. 3 on, 2 off, 7 on, 5 off, 7 on, 2 off, etc. I have a copy of the schedule to go over with candidates.

+PPE will be provided (steel toes, glasses, lab coat)
