Summary

CLIENT TEAM LEADER

We are now hiring an experienced leader with great customer service and team building skills to develop business solutions for key national accounts in the CPG industry. The Client Team Leader will establish metrics for business initiatives to demonstrate areas for improvement and success. The ideal candidate will coordinate all interaction with Advantage Sales and Marketing (ASM) operating divisions to maximize client sales and income growth while growing the business and reducing costs. Our firm works with many high-profile clients across the consumer packaged goods industry. Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all Clients’ brand marketing and Customer strategies are implemented.
  • Maximize all available client bonuses by assuring all ASM operating divisions understand and achieve their individual incentive targets.
  • Work with Clients to set Key Performance Indicators (KPI) across all areas of responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain client scorecards to measure sales, KPI’s, income, and other ASM value added services.
  • Leverage scorecard performance with appropriate ASM operating divisions to achieve objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize commission opportunities across both front and back end client activities.
  • Assist market and customer business teams with the development of sales presentations for key customer opportunities and business building ideas.
  • Utilize syndicated data (i.e. Nielsen, IRI, Spectra, and other forms of available demographic information), as well as internal ASM tools such as for retail reporting.
  • Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing, Trade Marketing, consumer packaged goods, or food brokerage organization.
  • Experience working with Vice President of Sales level and above positions.
  • Experience in Sales at HQ Level, Brand Management, Customer Management, Category Management and Shopper Marketing.
  • Proven track record in client development, people development, and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work effectively with management.
  • Conflict management skills.
  • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment.
