After an in-depth and personalized training period, you will be involved and accountable for the following:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Major Areas of Responsibility

Supervises warehouse associates with regard to daily production performance within the Distribution Center's departments (receiving, lay-up, selection, shipping, etc.)

Develops and motivates warehouse associates, resolves associate relations issues and provides a positive working atmosphere. Conducts performance appraisals and monitors progress of associates.

Ensures that established volumes of production are met or surpassed on a daily basis.

Regulates the flow of merchandise through the Distribution Center to avoid delays and maintains the highest possible efficiency.

Trains and develops warehouse associates on efficient work methods to increase individual and departmental output per man-hour.

Communicates with management and peers to ensure an efficient operation.
Performs special projects as needed.

Review and analyze KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) reports in a timely manner to ensure meaningful data is reported both internal and externally.

Minimum job skills required to perform this job

Knowledge of shipping, receiving, production methods, storage and inventory control
Strong organizational and time management skills
Flexibility to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner
Active listening skills to effectively communicate at all levels
Bilingual is a plus
4-6 years in a warehouse production environment, preferably with supervisory or training experience

Must be available to work any shift.
