Primary Responsibilities:


Maintains a monthly division automation dashboard and contributes to creating dashboard for CSD (Central Script Director).

Acts as liaison with Inventory staff ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained.

Twice yearly prepares site for inventory and contributes to staffing plan as per manager of back end establishes.

Proactively manage staffing scheduling as deemed by volume.

Coordinate staffing of floor as directed by Manager

Utilize HVS system software version 2.0

Utilize dashboards within HVS system to uninduct and reinduct orders

Understands bottle necks such as packing and productivity requirements associated with keeping line seamless.

Assists with testing, implementation, maintenance and optimization of automated pharmacy system.

Participates in the identification and resolution of automation system functionality issues.

Serves as the division subject matter expert and vendor liaison. Activities include: Investigation of system issues and concerns from pharmacy staff; discrimination between user errors/educational needs vs. system problems; reporting system problems; communication and follow up with system vendor to ensure timely and accurate resolution to issues or concerns.

Makes recommendations using discretion and judgment based on medication utilization patterns at the facility.

Manages and coordinates system maintenance and support, and ensures the dissemination of automation-related information as appropriate.

Participates in new employee training regarding the automation system (including, but not limited to, assist with development and maintenance of appropriate training manuals, conducting initial and ongoing training and validation of staff competency with pharmacy automation system.

Collects system and/or related processes or facility performance metrics and generates periodic management reports.

Lead special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


High School Diploma or GED

6 + months experience working with high volume automated solutions, including troubleshooting automated control systems in an emergency and corrective maintenance capacity within a production environment

Experience coordinating staffing volume and understanding of productivity measures

Creating and modifying spreadsheets within MS Excel

Creating and modifying documents within MS Word

Must work the 2nd shift position 3:00pm to 11:30pm EST (8% shift differential)
