As a Clinical Pharmacist you will conduct research and maintain or enhance clinical utilization management pharmacy programs. Primary Responsibilities:

Present clinical findings and literature before National Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) committee
Oversee pharmacy projects from inception to completion
Provide responses to drug information requests
Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
Identify solutions to non - standard requests and problems
Coach, provide feedback and guide others; acts as a resource for others with less experience
Work with other pharmacists and internally to support clinical utilization programs
Clinically research information, and provide timely feedback to requests for drug information
Given time - sensitive issues required by CMS and other regulatory bodies, there may be times that extended work hours are required to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner

Requirements


Required Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted pharmacist licensure in the state of California
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
1+ years of experience working as a clinical pharmacist
Ability to navigate MS Office and a Windows based environment and the ability to create, edit, save, and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word
Ability to navigate Outlook and conduct Internet searches
Experience conducting research and analysis
Preferred Qualifications:

PBM experience
Pharm D
Pharmacy residency experience
Managed Care experience
