Laboratory Technician - Full-time / Part-time

This role serves to support the Quality Control Department at The company. In this role, candidates will be responsible for pulling samples from the manufacturing line and bringing them back into the lab to perform quality checks on the product. Every hour candidates, will pull 10 samples and will perform rapid tests to check for quality. Most of the testing consists of basic wet chemistry techniques, visual checks, and color tests. This may include pH testing, viscosity, dilutions, titrations. Instruments used include refractometer, colorimeter, viscometer, and bostwick (experience with any of these is a plus).

- Quality Control experience, doing analytical testing, pulling samples
- Manufacturing experience or an understanding of what manufacturing requires
- Attention to detail / documentation skills
- Flexibility to train / work on all three shifts, with primary home being on second shift (2 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.)


Shift- Candidates primarily work on 2nd shift 2:00p-10:30pm, but will need to be flexible to float as there could be times they need coverage on other shifts. This candidate will jump between first and second shift but will never make the change mid-week. They will have prior notice in this instance. Candidates should be aware that they could see 30-35 hours a week.

This position must be filled immediately. A college degree is not required, but prefered.
