Maintenance Technician - Full-time / Part-time

* 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician Maintenance Mechanic, or Maintenance Electrician in a Manufacturing environment. The successful applicant will work in the Maintenance Department supporting facilities and production equipment through application of electrical, mechanical and interpersonal communications skills. The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and demonstrate a willingness to contribute wherever their skills can help to ensure the success of the business.

* Maintains facilities and equipment - 70% of time electrical jobs and 30% of time helping with different maintenance tasks.

* Works independently. Is able to take an assignment and scope out all needed resources to complete the job. Is able to call supplier technical services to obtain needed assistance, documentation and parts. Can verbalize needs and forecast work duration. Is organized, neat and shows concern for the cleanliness of the workplace.

* Affects repairs by following schematics, diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

* Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs both verbally and using the company computer information systems. Shows concern for the accuracy and completeness of records, work orders and reports including reporting on activities and completing logs, checklists, and parts lists.
