Required Experience:

  • 10-12 years experience working on pressure relief valves

  • Must have valid TWIC card
  • Must be willing to submit to DMV check, background check, and drug screen
  • Must be authorized to drive in the state of Louisiana

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage all assigned Direct Reports
* Hold required weekly Safety Meetings, and others as required by Client's Safety Procedures
* Communicate workload within the Shop to Employees and coordinate assignment of work with the Shop Foreman.
* Make sure all jobs are completed and delivered on time with the highest quality and cost efficiency.
* Communicate with Shop Foreman (where applicable) throughout the day on schedule changes.
* Manage and help coordinate all field service work (scheduling, tooling, personal, PPE, Costing/pricing).
* Enforce company rules and policies. Document any and all violations.
* Implement and maintain maintenance program on all shop equipment
* Implement and maintain maintenance program on all Field equipment
* Familiar with the Client's Quality Procedures (QP), Safety Procedures (SP) and Work Instructions (WI).
* Learn and enforce the usage of the ValvKeep Service Software as required by client Procedures, and hold accountability for location level data in the system.
* Learn to read, interpret, and train others on Safety Data Sheets (SDS), pre-cautions, Personnel Protection Equipment (PPE), hazards levels, etc;
* Ensure all needed shop supplies are available, and coordinate the ordering of shop supplies
* Responsible for all parts requests to ensure timely ordering and materials to complete valves.
* Learn the application of Quality Tools such as Positive Material Identification (PMI) machine, Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges, Gauge Calibration etc;
* Learn applicable Valve Standards as required by the job, and the corresponding test and/or inspection requirements
* Supervise and assist when required the job process at the individual work stations to ensure the technicians follow quality/safety procedures efficiently;
* Collaborate with Quality/ Safety lead on calibration and corresponding recordkeeping of company owned gauges, instruments and PMI machines;
* Work with Quality/ Safety lead to record Internal Non-Conformance Reports (INCR);
* Ensure all employees are Trained and Certified on applicable Product.
* Work with Quality/ Safety lead on Safety Inspections of the shop, warehouse, and administrative areas during the daily routine walkthroughs of the site;
* Familiar with ASME, NBIC, and VR Programs and ensure Employees are also trained on this material.
* Interface with ASME, national Board, Customer and Manufacturer's internal audits
