Human Resources Manager
1. ROLE
• Give support to the HR Regional Manager in the projects and processes for the subsidiaries in the Nocca region*.
• Provides HR expertise and consultation to help drive business results.
• Responsible for developing and administering a wide variety of HR programs for their client groups as well as interpreting and applying company policies.
* Nocca region: LatAm countries, Central America and Caribbean (excluding: Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay)
2. MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES
• Build a personal relationship and credibility to ensure ongoing awareness of individual employee issues and proactive solutions
• Assist in the implementation and performance impact resulting from annual HR processes, Performance Planning & Review, Succession Planning, Benefits enrollment, etc.
• Jointly define processes for two way communication and feedback between assigned client groups and their customers to identify areas of improvement
• Assist in defining the organization and employee plans needed to support budget or corporate objectives
• Develops recruitment advertising, creating job descriptions, placing advertisements on various media; works with the Talent Acquisition team to post, source and recruit hourly, non-exempt and exempt positions as needed
• Drafts offer letters and conducts on-boarding activities
• Acts as subject matter expert related to the employee handbook and all supplemental policies and procedures and deliver communications as needed to ensure compliance
• Coordinates policy and procedures interpretation to ensure consistent application, as appropriate; Maintains employee files
• Supports the benefits team on benefits programs, processes and procedures; supports annual benefits review and open enrollment sessions where appropriate
• Coordinates with Benefits Service Center to manage Leave of Absence programs including Family Medical Leave Act, Disability, and other absences
• Partner with and coach business leadership to facilitate organizational and cultural change;
• Coach business leaders on best practices of building an effective team in conjunction with the appropriate
HR expertise;
• Facilitate the creation of strong communication plans to ensure clarity, understanding, and alignment for business unit initiatives; influence, advise and support the cultural and people aspects of the organization that drive improvements in business efficiency through flexible plans for growth;
• Build the capability and expectation of the role of senior leaders in talent management;
• Work closely with business unit leaders to identify and develop future staffing and talent needs and plans to ensure talent is readily available
• Define and implement strategies that support the development of the talent pipeline/bench, and identification and development of emerging talent, through Talent Management and Succession Planning activities in close collaboration with the Organizational Capability Team;
• Analyze needs assessments to identify training needs for the client group, as well as individual coaching needs. Participate in evaluation and monitoring of the success of training programs. Provide follow-up support to ensure goals that are agreed upon as part of the management coaching are being maintained on an on-going basis.
• All other duties assigned by management within scope of this position
3. PERFORMANCE CRITERIA
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
• Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience
• HR generalist knowledge
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communications; fluency in English and Spanish is required
• Experience working with managers and HR support
• Breadth of staffing experience including hourly to senior executive
• Demonstrated experience in defining and leading projects and project timelines
• Helpful to have both corporate and field HR experience
• Domain of powerpoint and excel
• 10% – 30% Travel
