Administrative Assistant - Part time - Prater Lane

Duties include:

• Greet each parent and child daily in a fun/positive manner
• All accounting aspects including but not limited to: tuition and lunches, billing statements and deposits. Ensure accurate/timely tuition posting and deposits and safe cash handling.
• Keep accurate files per State requirements
• Maintain and print weekly schedules and schedule changes
• Maintain waitlist, children's files and facility tours
• Answer telephones in a timely & polite manner, providing excellent guest service and accurate information about Prater Lane Play School
• Watch, comfort and care for sick/injured children in the office
• Enter and complete staff payroll
• Order, stock & organize office, kitchen and school supplies
• Pick up/drop off mail & make copies as needed
• Create monthly menus for lunch
• Open school at 7:20 a.m.
• Cover for teacher breaks or substitute as needed.

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

*Positive communication skills

*Excellent computer skills including the following programs: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Private Advantage-willing to train.

*Must be a strong team player

*Patient

*Flexible/Multi-tasker

*Background checks: Vail Resorts, CBI/FBI and Central Registry Child Abuse

*5 years previous office administrative experience

*Previous child care experience

Preferred:

Prior cash handling experience

First Aid/CPR

Early Childhood Teacher letter
