About this job

This position is responsible for maintaining timely and efficient flow of Human Resources processes before, during, and after the hiring process and for following standard operating procedures, including but not limited to completing new hire/termination related paperwork and meeting filing deadlines and specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, and training.
  • Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, hire dates/birth dates for monthly recognition activities
  • Print applications/pre-employment documents/orientation packets.
  • Gather personnel records from other departments and/or employees.
  • Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities.
  • Create form letters.
  • Prepare badges, passes, and identification cards, and perform other security-related duties.
  • Create employee files.
  • Filing
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum:

  • Basic mathematical skills required; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • 6 -12 months of continuous work history
  • High school diploma

Preferred:

  • Associates Degree in Business or related field
  1. Demands and Work Environment: 
  • Exposure to wet conditions
  • The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, grasp with both hands, or feel; substantial movements (motion) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers; reaching and pulling with hands and arms.
  • Prolonged standing or sitting - Occasional walking is required for short distances.
  • Ability to consistently move/drag/lift up to 35 lbs. of boxed files on a regular basis.
  • Frequent stretching out of arms, and use of upper body.
  • Occasional turning and twisting at the waist.
