Production Supervisor - Full-time / Part-time

A Production Supervisor is needed for a well-established Plastic Injection Molding company in the Central Lake County area. This is a  DIRECT HIRE opportunity. The hours are on a rotating schedule from 6:00am-6:00pm (36 hours one week, 48 hours the next) with a pay rate ranging from $24.00-$26.00 an hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Production Supervisor:

• Direct and maintain daily machine operators for the assigned shift to ensure efficiency and high quality product.
• Coordinate and ensure daily production
• Conduct hands on training for current and new employees
• Assist with safety meetings
• Ensure that all production is being met
• Track inventory and ensure that all materials are properly stocked
• Support and improve quality initiatives to meet company goals

Qualifications for a Production Supervisor:

• 5+ years of Production Supervisory experience in Plastics
• HS Diploma
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but NOT required
• Ability to multi-task
• Hands on
• Professional and open written/verbal communication
• Proficient in MS Office--word, excel, and outlook, and SAP
