About this job
The GM manages all functions of a Jimmy John's restaurant to ensure customer service and high quality products are delivered to ensure restaurant profitability. Responsible for the successful execution of fast, accurate sandwiches and world-class customer service while maintaining a clean, organized store.
Manages a staff of 18-22 employees; Recruits, hires, trains, evaluates and disciplines the staff; Completes daily food preparation; Completes daily paperwork - Punchlist
Controls inventory by using a weekly inventory system and maintains regular inventory ordering schedules
Requirements
GM primarily opens the store Monday- Friday. Assistant Manager or Shift Supervisors cover the other shifts.
Orders produce from local vendors 3-5 days per week. Completes one major food order each Wednesday for Thursday delivery from Sysco.
Assigns daily and weekly clean duties evenly to all staff members.
Store is extremely clean, well-light and climate controlled.
