CooperVision 2nd Shift - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek has partnered with CooperVision over the last 4 years to find the best talent to join the team.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to performing activities necessary to support the receipt, replenishment, packaging, ordering picking and shipment of product while maintaining inventory accuracy within the CooperVision Distribution Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High-school Diploma or GED is required.
2. Ability to work in a warehouse environment; including hot temperatures during summer season.
3. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
4. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently if required.
5. Must possess basic computer skills in order to navigate documents and enter data.
6. Ability to perform basic mathematic and problem solving skills
7. Previous warehouse/production experience is preferred.
8. Must submit to a drug screen and background check post offer

GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Works scheduled holidays in order to maintain service levels for customers.
2. As business needs dictates, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory Saturdays.
3. Works scheduled hours and is ready to work at scheduled start times, notifies Supervisor prior to absence or tardiness in accordance with company policy.
4. Immediately informs Coordinator/Supervisor/Manager of safety, sanitation, and equipment malfunctions and concerns regarding quality issues.
5. Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Regulatory requirements.
6. Exhibits good communication skills - verbal, written, and comprehension of the English language.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

1. Accurate and efficient identification, picking, packaging, and shipping of products.
2. Utilization of a scanner gun to confirm correct selection of products.
3. Documentation/record-keeping in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
4. Use of pallet jack/forklift (If required, proper training will be provided).
5. Maintaining a clean and orderly work space
